Medal for the Victory over Japan
Variation 2b with an U-shaped eyelet as part of the medal and a straight diagonal line in the ‘4’ on its reverse
Made of plated brass. Measures 32.12 mm in width, 37.29 mm in height (including its eyelet) and weighs 17.3 grams without its suspension.
In problem free condition with most details visible and medium overall wear. Much of the original gold-like luster is still present and the medal comes with a time period brass suspension.
Awarded to Soviet service personnel of the 1st and 2nd Far East Trans-Baikal Fronts, Pacific Fleet and Amur River Flotilla who were active between 8 August and 23 August 1945.
