Medal for the Liberation of Prague
Variation 1b with a separately soldered eyelet and more detailed rays and wreath on its obverse
Made of brass. Measures 32.1 mm in width, 37.5 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 17.5 grams without its suspension.
In excellent condition with crisp details and light overall wear. There are few dings and scratches on both sides and much of the original luster is still present. Its double layer steel suspension and ribbon are time period to the medal.
Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the liberation of Prague between the 3 and 9 May 1945.
