Medal for the Liberation of Prague
Variation 1b with a separately soldered eyelet and more detailed rays and wreath on its obverse
Made of brass. Measures 32.33 mm in width, 37.80 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 17.5 grams without its suspension.
The is in excellent condition with light to medium overall wear. There are several small dings and scratches on its obverse but its details are still crisp. A fair amount of the original luster is still present and its double layer suspension is time period to the medal.
Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the liberation of Prague between the 3 and 9 May 1945.Â
