Medal for the Liberation of Prague Czechoslovakian Production

Scarce Czechoslovak-made variation, accompanied by its even rarer document

Awarded to Dmitrij Shcherban (Дмитий Щербан)

Made of gold plated brass. Measures 32.36 mm in width, 36.92 mm in height, including the eyelet and it weighs 15.6 gram without its suspension.

This medal is in near mint condition with virtually no traces of wear and all of the gold plating is still present. The brass suspension and ribbon are typical for these medals and is also produced by Czechoslovakia.

Its accompanying document is even rarer than the medal itself and is in excellent condition. It is numbered A 261629 and dated 8 August 1950. It bears the stamp of the Embassy of the USSR in Czechoslovakia.
