Medal for the Defense of Sevastopol WW2
Variation with a raised rim on its obverse and a larger distance between the ends of the naval cap tally
Made of brass. Measures 32.05 mm in width, 36.92 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 16.4 grams without its suspension.
In nice, above average condition with medium overall wear. Both sides show several dings and scratches but most details are still visible. The double layer steel suspension and ribbon are time period to the medal and its connection ring has been cut.
This medal was awarded to all participants in the defense of Sevastopol. Both to soldiers and civilians, who took part in the defense of Sevastopol during its siege by German forces.
