Medal for the Defense of Sevastopol
Variation 1b-2 with a raised rim on its obverse and a smaller distance between the ends of the naval cap tally
Made of brass. Measures 32.31 mm in width, 37.39 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 17.2 grams without its suspension.
In excellent condition with light overall wear. Both sides show are several small dings and scratches but its details are still visible and crisp. The medal comes its double layer suspension and its connection ring has not been cut.
Scarce
This medal was awarded to all participants in the defense of Sevastopol. Both to soldiers and civilians, who took part in the defense of Sevastopol during its siege by German forces.
