Medal for the Defense of Leningrad
Variation 1a with a ‘Short Horizon’
Made of brass. Measures 32.14 mm in width, 37.84 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 17.3 grams without its suspension.
This medal is in nice, about average, condition with some of the original luster still present. The medal shows several small dings and scratches and its details are still visible. The suspension is original and typical for a Defense of Leningrad medal and its connection ring has been cut.
Awarded to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defense of Leningrad between September 1941 and January 1944.
