Medal for the Commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of Lenin to Foreigners
Made of brass. Measures 32.06 mm in width, 37.18 mm in height, including the eyelet and it weighs 19.2 grams without its suspension.
The medal is in good condition with light to moderate wear and sharp details. Much of the original luster remains, and both sides have minimal dings and scratches. The suspension and ribbon are intact, and the stickpin works properly.
This scarce award was awarded to non Soviet Communist leaders and foreign WW2 veterans who attended the 100th anniversary in Moscow. According to recently published Soviet archival records a little over 4000 of these were issued.
