Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 35.11 mm in diameter, 40.14 mm in height including the eyelet and weighs 22.2 grams without its suspension. The reverse shows the stamped letter ‘N’ followed by the engraved serial number #48536 . The minimum known serial number for this variation is 35029 and the maximum is 61790.
This early medal in excellent, well above average condition with relatively few dings and scratches on either side. The details are all crisp and the enamels are very well preserved without repairs or flaking. The medal comes with its old, double layer, steel suspension and its connection ring has not been cut.
The medal is accompanied by its booklet which is in good condition with all pages present and firmly attached to the cover. Its is numbered 045040 and shows the serial number of the medal on the first page.
