This Soviet medal for Impeccable Service in the MOOP (Ministry of Protecting the Public Order) of the Republic of Moldavia is made of brass and enamels. It measures 32.0 mm in diameter, 36.9 mm in height and weighs 15.8 grams without its suspension.
In near mint condition with all details crisp and virtually no traces of wear. All of the gold-like luster is still present and its suspension and ribbon are time period to the medal.
One of the rare impeccable service medals
‘MOOP’ was a temporary substitute for the MVD during the 60s.
