Medal for Bravery #159 with medal booklet
Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 36.9 mm in diameter 41.7 mm in height. Its eyelet is 5.2 mm wide and the medal weighs 29.5 gram without its suspension.
The medal is in well above average condition considering it is a very early piece. The details of the raised areas like the rivets on the side of the tank and the cannons are still visible and all of the red enamel filling the letters is still present. Both sides show a nice even patina and its connection ring has been cut.
This medal was originally on a rectangular suspension and was replaced with a new one to comply with the new 1943 regulations of wearing Soviet awards.
Its accompanying booklet is a rarity in its own right and was specially designed for Medals for Bravery and only used for a short period. All pages are still present and still firmly attached and it contains a picture of Lysenko.

Made of gilded brass. Measures 30.1 mm in width, 39.4 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 11.8 gram without its screwplate.
In problem free condition with medium overall wear. Both sides show several dings and scratches and some of the details are worn off. However, the enamels are fully present without repairs and a fair amount of the original gold plating is still present, mainly on its reverse. The badge comes with its correct screwplate and its screw has not been shortened.
Its booklet is in good, problem free condition.
