Research of the Order of the Patriotic War 1st class:

“During the defensive operations he properly prepared the transport vehicles for offensive operations.

Between April 16 and May 9, 1945, during the offensive operations, he skillfully organized the repairs of artillery tractors.

Through his bravery efforts, comrade Zderchuk, using only regimental personnel, was able to repair 7 and completely overhaul 3 artillery tractors directly at the batteries’ positions. In addition, 4 captured vehicles were repaired and recommissioned.

Owing to comrade Zderchuk’s skillful efforts, the regiment’s transport vehicles functioned smoothly during the offensive operations and the regiment was able to properly execute its assignments.”

Research of the Order of the Red Star #223621:

“Having seen frontline service in the Patriotic War since June 1941, comrade Zderchuk has shown himself a son of the Soviet people during the battles for the motherland. Under heavy German aerial bombardment and heavy enemy artillery fire comrade Zderchuk personally brought ammunition and provisions to the frontline positions, in spite of these difficulties. Under his able supervision the vehicles of the motorized company could be saved from heavy enemy bombardment and heavy artillery fire. During his time in command of the motorized company the vehicles were, and still are, in excellent condition. During his time as commander not a single vehicle accident occurred. The ammunition and provision transportation targets were achieved ahead of schedule.

He is being nominated for the Order of the Red Star.”
