Group of Soviet Medals mounted on an old brass suspension
Would make an interesting research project. The group was likely awarded for combat on the Soviet-Japanese Front
This group consists of the following items:
Medal for Combat Merit #1303717
Made of solid silver. Measures 37.61 mm in height (including its eyelet) and 32.32 mm in width. It weighs 17.3 gram. The medal is in excellent condition with crisp details and most red lacquer present. Its connection ring has not been cut. Most likely awarded in the spring/summer of 1944.
Medal for Combat Merit #2485884
Made of solid silver. Measures 37.30 mm in height and 32.12 mm in width. It weighs 18.6 gram. In nice condition with all details present. Approximately 80% of the red lacquer filling the letters CCCP is still present. Its connection ring has been cut. Most likely awarded in 1945.
Medal for Combat Merit without serial number
Made of silver and enamels. Measures 37.14 mm in height and 32.14 mm in width. It weighs 18.9 gram.
In excellent condition with problem perfect enamels.
Medal for Victory over Japan, type 1
Made of gold plated brass. In excellent condition with all details crisp and most gold plating present.
Jubilee Medal for 30 Years of the Armed Forces of the USSR
Made of gold plated brass. In excellent condition with all details visible.
