Group of Soviet Medals mounted on an old steel suspension

 

Would make an interesting research project

 

 

The group consists of the following items:

 

Medal for Bravery #2149250

Made of solid silver. Measures 42.41 mm in height (including its eyelet) and 37.48 mm in width. It weighs 28.1 gram. The medal is in nice condition with crisp details. Most red lacquer has been replaced and its connection ring has not been cut. Most likely awarded in the spring of 1945.

 

Medal for Bravery #2191868

Made of solid silver. Measures 42.69 mm in height (including its eyelet) and 37.43 mm in width. It weighs 27.7 gram. The medal is in nice condition with crisp details. The red lacquer has been replaced and its connection ring has not been cut. Most likely awarded in the spring of 1945.

 

Medal for the Defense of Stalingrad

Made of gold plated brass. Measures 37.41 mm in height (including its eyelet) and 32.16 mm in width. It weighs 16.1 gram. The medal is in excellent condition with all details visible. Its connection ring has not been cut.

 

Medal for the Capture of Berlin

Made of gold plated brass. Measures 37.62 mm in height, 32.16 mm in width and weighs 16.9 gram. In excellent condition with its detailsl  visible. Light wear on the higher laying parts of its obverse.

 

Medal for the Victory over Germany

Made of gold plated brass. Measures 36.53 mm in height, 32.15 mm in width and weighs 17.0 gram. Both sides show only few small dings and scratches and much gold plating is still present.
