Group of Soviet Medals mounted on an old brass suspension

Would make an interesting research project

This group consists of the following items:

Medal for Combat Merit #2833606

Made of solid silver and lacquer. Measures 37.06 mm in height including its eyelet, 32.12 mm in width and weighs 18.3 gram. The medal is in excellent condition with crisp details and all red lacquer present. Its connection ring has not been cut. Most likely awarded in the second half of 1945.

Medal for the Defence of Leningrad 

Made of gold plated brass. Measures 37.80 mm in height including its eyelet, 32.23 mm in width and weighs 17.5 gram. The medal is in excellent condition with most details visible and crisp and full gold plating on both sides. There are several small dings and scratches and its connection ring has been cut.

Medal for Victory over Germany

Made of gold plated brass. Measures 37.15 mm in height including its eyelet, 32.16 mm in width and weighs 17.4 gram. The medal is in decent condition with medium overall wear. Some of the gold plating is still present although most has been worn off.
