Group of Awards: Medals for Labor Valor, Distinguished Labor , Valiant Labor and Victory over Germany
Medal for Labor Valor, flat eyelet variation
Made of silver and enamels. Measures 34.15 mm in width, 39.43 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 21.3 grams.
In superb condition with few traces of wear and beautiful, problem free enamels. Its connection ring has not been cut and both sides show a nice even dark patina.
Medal for Distinguished Labor, flat eyelet variation
Made of silver and enamels. Measures 32.04 mm in width, 37.02 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 17.1 grams.
In equally nice condition as the Labor Valor with beautiful enamels. Its connection ring has not been cut and this medal shows an equally dark patina to the silver.
Medal for the Victory over Germany
Made of brass. Measures 32.32 mm in width, 37.20 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 17.9 grams.
In great condition with light wear to the raised areas only. All of the original gold-like luster is still present.
Medal for Valiant Labor
Made of brass. Measures 32.19 mm in width, 37.28 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 17.7 grams.
In excellent condition with well preserved details and full bronze luster. Hard to upgrade.
Please note that there is no evidence these medals originally belonged together. However, the identical patina on the two silver medals and the similar, pristine condition of the others, suggest this was likely an original set.
