Excellent Service in MVD Badge
Made out of gilded brass, German silver and enamel. Measures 44.16 mm in height, 30.19 mm in width and weighs 21.9 gram without its screw plate.
In great condition with full gold plating, crisp details and problem free enamels. Its screw has not shortened and the badge comes with its correct screwplate.
Established in 1985 and issued until the collapse of the USSR in 1991. The badge was awarded for excellent service to officers and other MVD personnel of jails and forced labor camps. It was also issued to faculty and staff of the MVD schools that trained personnel for Soviet penitentiary system.
