In above average condition with most details still visible and light to medium overall wear. The enamels on both the banner and star is fully original without repairs and shows some minor flaking only, not penetrating to the silver. Its connection ring has not been cut and the order comes with a time period, double layer, steel suspension.

The award booklet is in good condition, with all pages intact and securely bound to the cover. A Medal for Combat Merit is listed alongside the Order of Glory, though the medal itself is not included in this lot. Additionally, some scammer added an Order of Glory 2nd Class, which Bondarenko was never awarded. We’ve marked it out in pencil.

Brief and specific description of the personal feat or merits:

Comrade Bondarenko has been in the regiment since its formation and went through the entire combat path with honor, displaying exceptional courage, bravery, and heroism. Comrade Bondarenko, in battles on the western bank of the Oder River on February 5, 6, and 7, 1945 near the city of Malmy, under intense enemy artillery fire, promptly delivered ammunition to the batteries by sledges, directly to the firing positions.

Despite the danger, Comrade Bondarenko, over the course of three days, delivered ammunition to the gun crews, thereby ensuring successful repulsion of enemy attacks and completion of combat missions.

On February 12, 1945, during the battle for the city of Grotkau, Comrade Bondarenko delivered ammunition to the 2nd battery, directly under enemy fire, thereby ensuring the completion of the combat mission.

On February 18, 1945, during a battle near the town of Schettel, Comrade Bondarenko, under enemy artillery and machine-gun fire, brought ammunition to the 2nd battery, thereby ensuring repulsion of enemy counterattacks and fulfillment of the combat task.

For his displayed courage and bravery, and for timely supply of ammunition to the batteries, Comrade Bondarenko deserves to be awarded the Order of the Red Star.
