For servicing many sorties resulting in a large number of aircraft being repaired. During one mission he had to repair 3 crashed aircraft on the field within the reach of enemy fire

 

 

This group of Soviet awards consists of the following items:

 

Order of the Red Banner #516114

Made of silver and enamels. Measures 44.92 mm in height, 36.11 mm in width and it weighs 24.5 grams. The mint mark Monetni Dvor and the serial number are located at the bottom of its reverse.

This beautiful Red Banner is in great condition with crisp details and most gold plating still present. The red and white enamels are well preserved without chipping, flaking or repairs and show some contact marks only. The double layer suspension is time period to the order and its connection ring has not been cut.

 

Order of the Red Star #359050

Made of silver and enamels. Measures 46.12 mm in height, 48.42 mm in width and it weighs 28.2 grams without its screwplate. The mint mark Monetni Dvor in two lines is located at the top of its reverse and the serial number at the bottom.

In excellent, well above average condition considering it has been awarded relatively early during the war. The enamels are absolutely stunning and free from repairs or chipping. The raised silver areas show their details perfectly well. Its screw has not been shortened and its screwplate is time period to the order.

 

Order of the Red Star #2032736

Made of silver and enamels. Measures 46.71 mm in height, 48.25 mm in width and it weighs 31.0 grams without its screwplate. The mint mark Monetni Dvor in two lines is located at the top of its reverse and the serial number at the bottom.

In superb condition with flawless enamels. The details on the soldier are still crisp and both sides show few traces of wear. Its screw has not been shortened and its screwplate is time period to the order.

 

Order Booklet 

In excellent condition with all pages firmly attached to the cover. The booklet mentions all awards above plus a Medal for Combat Merit which unfortunately is missing.
