This group consists of the following items:
Order of the Patriotic War 2nd class #927201 with its order booklet
Made of solid gold, silver and enamels. Measures 44.94 mm in height, 43.38 mm in width and weighs 27.4 grams without its screwplate. Relatively scarce Leningrad Mint variation with a line underneath its serial number. less than 10,000 produced .
In superb, near mint condition with its details crisp and very few traces of wear on either side. Its red and white enamels are perfectly preserved without repairs and both sides show a dark toning to the silver. The screw of the order has not been shortened and the order comes with its original and well fitted screwplate which, as it seems, has rarely be been worn either.
The order comes with its order booklet with all pages present and it is dated May 6th 1965
Order of the Patriotic War 1st class #970389 with its document
Made of gold plated silver and enamels. Measures 46.27 mm in height, 44.39 mm in width and weighs 27.5 grams without its screwplate.
In excellent condition with beautiful wine red enamels and most gold plating present. All details are crisp and it comes with its time period screwplate. Its accompanying booklet mentions the matching serial number.
Medal for Combat Merit with its medal booklet
Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 37.18 mm in height (incl. its eyelet), 32.19 mm in diameter and weighs 19.4 grams.
In excellent condition with problem free enamels. All details are crisp and its connection ring has been cut. Its medal booklet is in equally nice condition and mentions this medal only.

The citation for the Order of the Patriotic War was not found online as it is a post WW2 awarding. We can however request it from the archive for a small additional fee. Some information on Major Merzlikin can be vieuwed here
