Complete documented group of an Order of Glory 2nd class, 3rd class and two Medals for Bravery

Awarded to Sr. Sergeant Andranik Matevosovich Arutyunyan (Андраник Матевосович Арутюнян)

For rushing into enemy trenches under heavy fire, killing 12 German soldiers with his submachine gun, and inspiring his company to inflict major losses and capture a prisoner for intelligence

The group consist of the following items:

Order of Glory 2nd class #1915

Made of solid silver, gilt and enamels. Measures 47.08 mm in width, 49.13 mm in height and weighs 19.8 grams. The serial number is located on top of its reverse.

In excellent, above-average condition for a low-numbered award. The order shows light overall wear, with most details of the raised areas – such as the tower clock and wreath – still visible, and nearly all of the original gold plating intact. The enamels are well preserved with no repairs, though there is a ‘chip’ on the right edge of the banner. This appears to be a production flaw rather than damage, as the spot shows gold plating, indicating the enamels were already missing before gilding. The order retains its original double-layer suspension, and the connecting ring remains uncut.

Order of Glory 3rd class #27282

Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 46.17 mm in width, 48.14mm in height and weighs 24.1 grams. The serial number is located on top of its reverse.

This order is in a nice, above average condition with most details still visible and medium overall wear. The enamels are fully present and show some dings and superficial flaking but are otherwise problem free and without repairs. The order shows a medium dark patina on both sides and its connection ring has not been cut.

Medal for Bravery #1127957

Made of solid silver. Measures 37.45 mm in width, 42.42 mm in height (including its eyelet) and weighs 27.1 grams.

The medals is in above average condition with its details crisp. Most of the original red lacquer is still present and the medal shows a medium patina to the silver on both sides. Its connection ring has not been cut and the medal comes with its original double layer suspension and old ribbon.

Medal for Bravery #1528867

Made of solid silver. Measures 37.27 mm in width, 42.57 mm in height (including its eyelet) and weighs 26.0 grams.

In worn condition with several dings and scratches on both sides. Its details however are still present. The red lacquer has worn off and its connection ring has not been cut. The medal comes with its original double layer suspension and old ribbon
