The International Organization for Assistance to the Fighters of the Revolution (MOPR) was established in November 1922; by the decision of the Congress of the Comintern. In 1948, the organization was dissolved with the transfer of functions and property to the Union of Red Cross Societies. The sign was issued to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Paris Commune, a working-class government created as a result of the revolution of March 18, 1871.
