Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 45.40 mm in height, 37.09 mm in width and it weighs 26.0 grams without its suspension. The serial number and curved mint mark are located at the 6 o’clock position of its reverse.
In excellent condition with light wear to the raised areas like the center wreath and most details still visible. The white enamel is well preserved without repairs and the red enamel shows some minuscule flakes around the edges. Its connection ring has not been cut and the order comes with a period double layer suspension.

Major Tretyakov I. M., acting at the head of the second infantry battalion as a tank landing party with tanks of the 62th Tank Brigade fought its way breaking through far forward in pursuit of the enemy for four days of fighting, capturing the following settlements: Nieder – Oberau (Obora), Gross Heinzendorf (Jędrzychów), Heinzenburg (Nowinki), Neudorf (Nowa Wieś Lubińska), Parchau (Parchów), Kreychhee, Wengeln, Nyulhee, Weißig (Wysokie), Wolfersdorf (Wilkocin), Leisersdorf (Uniejowice), Wickendorf (Witków), Vensdorf, Goldbach (Kadłubia) and Grobach, also seizing the towns of: Primkenau (Przemków), Sprottau (Szprotawa) and Sorau (Żary).
On 02/13/45 he burst into the city of Sorau; having seized it in an armored assault with tanks of the 62th tank brigade, he held the city for three days, fighting off all enemy attempts to recapture the city, an important communications center, but due to the resistance and heroism of the entire personnel, as well as the skillful actions of Major TRETJAKOV, the city was held until the main forces arrived.
For the skillful command of armored troops in battles and decisive action to pursue the enemy, Major Nikita Mikhailovich Tretyakov deserves the government awards the Order of the “Red Banner.”
