Medal of Nakhimov #11569
Made of brass. It measures 36.32 mm in width, 44.55 mm in height and weighs 21.0 grams without its suspension. Featuring admiral Nakhimov surrounded by 110 ‘pearls’. The serial number, “11569”, is stamped in a small font on the side of the medal. The minimum known serial number for this variation is 6005 and the maximum is 16952.
In excellent, well above average condition. There few dings and scratches on either side and the raised areas show light wear only with most details perfectly visible. A fair amount of the original luster is still present had there have been no repairs. The medal comes with its time period suspension device and old ribbon.
Medal for Combat Merit #2692933
Made of silver and lacquer. Measures 32.14 mm in diameter, 37.18 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 18.7 grams without its suspension.
In above average condition with crisp details and a fair amount of the original red lacquer still present. Both sides show a strong patina to the silver and relatively few dings and scratches. Its connection ring has not been cut and the medal comes with its time period ribbon and double layer steel suspension.
Order of the Patriotic War 2nd class #3970501 with booklet
Made of silver and enamels. Measures 46.10 mm in height, 44.13 mm in width and weighs 27.3 grams without its screwplate.
In near mint condition with all details pristine and stunning enamels. This order comes with its original screwplate and matching booklet which is in equally nice condition.
Medal for Victory over Japan with document
Made of brass. Measures 37.15 mm in height including its eyelet, 32.18 mm in diameter and weighs 17.5 grams without suspension.
The medal is in excellent condition with most gold-like luster present and light overall wear. It comes with its document which is in used but problem free condition.

In excellent condition with all pages firmly attached to its cover. It mentions both numbered medals above alone.

GIRMAN Yakov Andreevich is a highly disciplined and knowledgeable radio communication specialist of the KP OVR. In difficult conditions, without considering the time of day, he excellently organizes radio communications for KP OVR with units and formations of OVR and VIDR operating in the sea.
During combat operations, despite great challenges and difficulties due to an insufficient number of personnel and old, outdated radio equipment, he successfully ensures stable radio communication.
He has thoroughly trained his subordinates to work in challenging conditions. He provides outstanding service in maintaining communication for KP OVR and in the work of the Material Unit.
