Medal for the Capture of Vienna
Variation 1 with a separately soldered eyeletÂ
Made of brass. Measures 32.20 mm in width, 36.95 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 17.1 grams without its suspension.Â
In nice condition with medium overall wear. The medal shows several dings and scratches on both sides but most details are still visible. A fair amount of the original gold luster is still present and the medal comes with its time period steel suspension and old, worn ribbon. On request we can replace the ribbon with a better (but worn) one without additional costs.
Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the capture of Vienna between 16 March and 13 April 1945.
