Soviet medal for the Capture of Vienna 1 WW2
Variation 1 with a separately soldered eyelet
Measures 32.23 mm in width, 37.12 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 16.8 grams without its suspension.
This medal is in great condition with light wear on its higher laying parts only. There are several small dings and scratches on both sides and a larger scratch on right side of its obverse; nothing too distracting from the overall appeal of the medal. Most details are well defined and the gold plating is still present. It comes with its time period steel suspension and old ribbon.
Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the capture of Vienna between 16 March and 13 April 1945.
