Complete Documented Group of an Order of Glory and a Medal for Bravery
Awarded to Guards Private Abdulla Ismailovich Ismailov (Абдулла Исмаилович Исмаилов)
During defensive battles near the village of Vinkshninyay on August 3, 1944, when the enemy launched a counter-assault, he allowed them to come closer and then killed up to 20 enemy soldiers and officers with his submachine gun. On August 4, 1944, while breaking out of encirclement, he killed an additional 10 enemy submachine gunners with his weapon
This group consist of the following items:
Order of Glory 3rd class #541162 with order booklet
Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 45.48 mm in width, 47.96 mm in height and weighs 23.6 grams. The serial number is located on top of its reverse.
This order is in nice, about average condition with medium wear to the raised areas and most details in the tower still visible. The enamels are fully present but show some dings and scratches. The order shows a medium patina on both sides and its connection ring has not been cut. It comes with its correct double layer steel suspension.
Its accompanying order booklet is in excellent condition with all pages firmly attached to its cover. It mentions this Order of Glory only
Medal for Bravery #922774 with medal booklet
Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 37.24 mm in diameter, 42.05 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 25.9 grams.
The medal is in average condition with most details visible and numerous dings on both sides. The original red lacquer is partly present, but some has been adjusted later. Its connection ring has not been cut, and the order comes with its period-appropriate suspension and an old ribbon. Its stickpin is partly broken off and is not functional. Upon request, we can replace the suspension and ribbon with a similar one (see picture) or include the replacement suspension in the parcel at no additional cost.
Its medal booklet is in problem free condition with all pages present and firmly attached to its cover. No other awards are mentioned.

The gun crew member Private Guard Ismailov during battles with German invaders showed himself as brave and courageous soldier.
During defense battles near village of Vinkshninyay on August 3, 1944 when the enemy went into the counter assault, while letting them to come closer, he killed up to 20 enemy soldiers and officers firing his submachine gun.
On August 4, 1944 while disentangling he killed by his weapon up to 10 enemy submachine gunners.
He is worthy of decoration by the Order of Glory of 3rd class for his bravery and courage.
