Medal for Distinction in Guarding the State Border of the USSR
Made of nickel. It measures 32.15 mm in width and 2.89 mm in thickness. The height of the medal is 37.01 mm including its eyelet and it weighs 17.2 grams without its suspension.
The medal is in near mint condition with crisp details on even the higher laying parts like the soldier’s face. There are no dings and scratches and its suspension is time period to the medal.
Awarded to K.G.B. Border Troops personnel for military or other actions displaying excellence in guarding the Soviet borders.
