Medal for the Capture of Budapest
Variation 1b with a raised rim on its reverseÂ
Made out of brass. Measures 32.26 mm in diameter, 37.36 mm in height and weighs 17.4 grams in weight wihtout its suspension.
The medal is in nice condition with medium overall wear and a fair amount of gold luster still present on both sides. The medal shows several small dings and scratches on both sides and it comes with a single layer brass suspension.
Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the battle of Budapest between 20 December 1944 and 15 February 1945.
