Variation 1b with a separately soldered eyelet and more detailed rays and wreath on its obverse
Made of gilded brass. Measures 32.22 mm in width, 37.86 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 16.9 grams without its suspension.
In excellent condition with most details visible and light overall wear. There are few dings and scratches on both sides and none of them distract from the overall appeal of the medal. Much of the original gold plating is still present and its double layer suspension and ribbon are time period to the medal.
Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the liberation of Prague between the 3 and 9 May 1945.Â
