Documented Group of Soviet Awards

Awarded to Lieutenant Petr Konstantinovich Sidorov (Петр Константинович Сидоров)

An impressive group with all awards given for combat action in Berlin and Prague (none of them for long service)

This group of Soviet awards consists of the following items:

Order of the Red Banner #289761

Made of silver and enamels. Measures 45.47 mm in height, 37.61 mm in width and weighs 24.8 grams without its suspension. The mint mark Monetni Dvor and the serial number are located at the bottom of its reverse.

This order is in excellent condition with full gold plating and crisp details. Even the higher laying parts show almost wear. The enamels are generally well preserved but show some loss in the 6 o’clock ray of the center star. There have been no repairs and its connection ring has been cut.

Order of the Patriotic War 1st class #163551

Made of solid gold, silver and enamels. Measures 46.23 mm in height, 43.76 mm in width and weighs 31.8 grams without its screwplate. The mint mark Monetni Dvor in two lines is located at the top of its reverse and the serial number at the bottom.

This is a respectable example with moderate overall wear. The red enamels on the five rays and the white enamels remain undamaged and untouched. However, there is some flaking observed in the red enamel beneath the hammer and sickle. The reverse side is in great condition with few scratches and contact marks. The order comes with the correct screwplate which fits seamlessly and its screw has not been shortened.

Order of the Patriotic War 2nd class #349440

Made of silver, gold and enamels. Measures 48.08 mm in height, 45.35 mm in width and weighs 27.7 grams without its screwplate. The mint mark Monetni Dvor and the serial number are located at the bottom of its reverse.

In similar condition as the first class with problem free enamels apart from some minor superficial flaking underneath the hammer and sickle. It comes with its well fitted and correct screwplate.

Order of the Red Star #684727

Made of silver and enamels. Measures 49.49 mm in width, 48.40 mm in height and weighs 29.8 grams without its screwplate.

In nice condition with its details perfectly visible and an appealing toning to the silver on both sides. The enamels on the 3 o’clock ray have been restored but are otherwise original and without damage. The order comes with its well fitted and correct screwplate.

Order Booklet

In good condition with all pages present and firmly attached to the cover. It mentions all awards above.
