Description
Order of Lenin #95241
Early suspension variation
Made out of solid gold, platinum and enamels. Measures 43.17 mm in height, 38.57 mm in width and weighs 33.1 grams without its suspension. The stamped serial number and raised mint mark are located at the center of its reverse.
The order is in excellent, above average condition. All details are crisp and even the higher parts of the order like Lenin’s face show light wear only. The enamels are well preserved with some small contact marks and a minuscule chip on lop on the E in ‘Lenin’ only. There have been no repairs and the connection ring has not been cut. The reverse is in equally nice condition with minor dings and contact marks. The double layer steel suspension and ribbon are original and time period to the award.
A beautiful piece
