Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 44.88 mm in height, 37.09 mm in width and it weighs 26.2 grams without its suspension. The serial number and curved mint mark are located at the 6 o’clock position of its reverse.
In excellent, above average condition with light wear to the silver base. Its details are crisp and are well defined, even on the raised parts like the center wreath. The red and white enamels are generally well preserved and show some small dings and scratches only, no flaking or repairs. The order comes with a brass suspension and its connection ring has not been cut.
According to our database this Red Banner falls right between the range for ‘police long service awards’ (15 January 1945) and a degree for ‘special missions’. We have not requested information from the archives but are happy to assist you when requested.
