Guards Badge
This post-war Soviet Guards Badge is made of gold plated brass and enamels. The badge measures 46.61 mm in height, 33.39 mm in width and weighs 14.0 grams, not including its screwplate.
The badge is in excellent condition and comes with its time period screwplate. The white enamels are flawless and the red enamels show a small superficial flake on the left side of the banner. All of the gold plating is still present.
These badges were awarded to the soldiers of elite ‘Guard’ units both during and after the Great Patriotic War.
