Made of silver and enamels. It measures 41.75 mm in width, 46.36 mm in height including the crown and weighs 27.2 grams including the ribbon. A silver hallmark can be found on the cross on top of the crown.
The order is in nice condition with crisp details and an appealing patina to the silver. The enamels show some chipping on the center blue part on its obverse but are otherwise fine and without repairs. It comes with its original box which is in great condition.
Founded in 1815 by King William the 1st this is the highest and one of the oldest civil awards. It is awarded about 20 times each year which makes it one of the more scarce Dutch awards
