Soviet Officer’s Navy Parade Dagger with Admiral Belt
1945!
The dagger is in excellent condition without corrosion to the blade and much gold plating on the brass parts still present. The leather sheath is still in tact and without damage nor is the leather dried out. The details on the coat of arms on top of the handle are crisp and the ship and anchor on the brass part of the sheath are still perfectly visible. The blade is numbered И019028 and shows the engraving ИМЗ (IMZ) 1945.
The admiral belt is absolute stunning with gold bullion brocade and thick, perfectly preserved gold plating on the buckle and lions. The gold plating shows an appealing toning which unfortunately does not really show in the pictures.
