Medal for the Liberation of Prague
Variation 2 with a U-shaped eyelet as part of the medal
Made of gold plated brass. Measures 32.28 mm in width and 37.13 mm in height including the eyelet. It weighs 17.7 grams without suspension.
Iin excellent condition. All details are still visible and a fair amount of gold plating is still present. The double layer steel suspension is time period to the medal as is its ribbon.
Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the liberation of Prague between the 3 and 9 May 1945.
