Awarded to Guards Lieutenant Karp Ivanovich Oleinik (Карп Иванович Олейник)
For providing fuel supplies to the tanks when (street fighting) in Vienna and thus enabling the troops to achieve their combat objectives
Made of silver and enamels. Measures 48.19 mm in width, 46.27 mm in height and weighs 28.9 gram without its screwplate. The serial number is located at the 6 o’clock position and the mint mark on the 12 o’clock position of its reverse.
In great, above average condition. The details are mostly visible and even the higher laying parts show light to medium wear. The enamels are problem free and show some dings and scratches only. There have been no repairs and its screwpost has no been shortened. The order comes with its time period and well fitted screwplate.

“Participating in the fighting against the German invaders, he proved himself as a brave and determined officer. In the battle for the town Sopron, on the approaches to the Austian capital city of Vienna, and in the fighting on the Vienna streets, he provided the fuel supplies to our tanks.
On multiple occasions, he delivered the fuel directly into the combat formations and was subjected to the enemy fire. Despite the enemy fire, he always ensured the tanks were refueled, which enabled our troops to achieve their combat objectives.
For bravery and courage, he deserves a state award – order “RED STAR”.
