Description
Order of Glory 3rd Class #558278
Awarded to Sergeant Ivan Andreevich Tikhonenko (Иван Андреевич Тихоненко)
For personally destroying 1 machine gun and killing 9 German-Hungarian soldiers in a hand to hand skirmish and getting injured in the process
Made of silver and enamels. Measures 45.95 mm in width, 48.42 mm in height and weighs 23.9 gram without its suspension.
In excellent, well above average condition with crisp details and relatively few dings and scratches to the silver. Even the higher laying parts like the tower and wreath show almost no wear. The red enamels are beautiful and without chipping or repairs. Its connection ring has not been cut and the order comes with a time period ribbon and suspension.
At first glance there seems to be a small enamel chip underneath the first A in SLAVA. However, on close inspection this appears to be a minor production imperfection.
