Awarded to Colonel Nikita Yaakovlevich Gusev (Никита Яаковлевич Гусев)
Colonel Gusev was highly decorated and also received 2 Orders of the Red Star an Order of the Patriotic War 2nd class, an Order of Lenin and several campaign medals
Made of silver and enamels. Measures 36.55 mm in width and 45.16 mm in height and weighs 24.9 gram without its suspension. The mint mark is located above the serial number in two straight lines.
This original order is in excellent, near mint condition with all details crisp. The red enamel on the banners and the star is flawless as is the white enamel surrounding the ‘2’ and at centre part. The order shows an appealing medium patina on both sides and its connection ring has not been cut. The double layer steel suspension and its ribbon are time period to the order and there have been no repairs.
The order comes with its award booklet which is in excellent condition as well. All pages are firmly attached and it is numbered Б 577394
