Awarded to KGB officer Nikolai Petrovich Drozd (Николай Петрович Дрозд)
The group consists of the following items:
Honored State Security Employee badge #2112 with booklet
This KGB badge is made of brass and enamels. It measures 47.56 in height, 26.25 mm in width and weighs 10.1 gram without its screwplate.
In excellent condition with well preserved enamels and crisp details. The raised details show light wear only and most of the silver plating is still present. The nut is original to the badge and its screw has been shortened by a few mm for more comfortable wear.
Its accompanying booklet is in excellent condition as well and shows the matching badge number ‘2112’ and an original picture of the awardee Drozd

50th Anniversary of the KGB badge with booklet
Made of brass and enamels. It measures 47.31 in height, 26.23 mm in width and weighs 8.7 gram without its screwplate.
In excellent condition with beautiful enamels and crisp details. The raised details show some small contact marks only and most gold plating covering the ’50’ is still present. Its screw has not been shortened and the nut is original to the badge.
Its booklet is in excellent condition as well

Made of solid silver and enamels. It measures 46.04 in height, 43.99 mm in width and weighs 27.6 gram without its screwplate.
In near mint condition with stunning wine red enamels and crisp details. All gold and silver plating is still present and its screw has not been shortened. The

In excellent condition with all pages firmly attached. It is numbered E-067176 and portrays Drozd’s original picture
