Soviet medal for the Liberation of Prague
Variation 1a with a separately soldered eyelet and less detailed rays and wreath on the obverse of the medal
Made of gilded brass. Measures 32.12 mm in width, 37.67 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 17.1 gram without suspension.
The medal is in excellent condition with medium wear and several small dings and scratches but most details are still visible. Much of the gold plating is still present and the double layer suspension is time period to the medal.
Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the liberation of Prague between the 3 and 9 May 1945.
