Soviet Medal for the Victory over Japan
Variation 2b with an U-shaped eyelet as part of the medal and a curved diagonal line in the ‘4’ on its reverse
Made out of gold plated brass. Measures 32.26 mm in width, 37.36 mm in height (including its eyelet) and weighs 17.7 gram.
The medal for the Victory over Japan is in excellent condition with its details perfectly visible and most gold plating is still present. The medal comes with an old brass suspension.
Awarded to Soviet service personnel of the 1st and 2nd Far East Trans-Baikal Fronts, Pacific Fleet and Amur River Flotilla who were active between 8 August and 23 August 1945.
