Medal for the Defense of Stalingrad
Variation 1 with a separately attached eyelet
Made of brass. Measures 32.1 mm in width, 37.3 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 16.5 grams without its suspension.
In well above average condition with its details still well defined and much of its original luster still present. Both sides show few dings and scratches. Its connection ring has not been cut and the medal comes with a brass suspension.
Awarded to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defense of Stalingrad between July and November 1942.
