Medal for the Defense of Stalingrad variation 1
Made of gilded brass. Measures 32.06 mm in width, 36.60 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 16.2 gram without its suspension.
This medal is in excellent, well above average condition with crisp details and very light wear only. There are several dings and scratches on both sides but nothing distracting of the overall appeal of the medal. The medal comes with its time period double layer steel suspension and its connection ring has not been cut.
Awarded to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defense of Stalingrad between July and November 1942.
