Made of bronzed steel and enamels. It measures 48.7 mm in height, 39.7 mm in width and weighs 15.0 grams without its screwplate.
The badge is in excellent condition, with sharp details and beautiful enamels. Even the raised elements, such as the soldier’s face and the lettering, remain well defined. The lower part of the reverse shows some corrosion, making the first digit(s) of the serial number difficult to read; the visible portion appears to be 1379. The screw is full-length, and the badge is fitted with its correct and fully functional screwplate.
