Medal for the Capture of Königsberg
Variation 2 with a U-shaped eyelet struck as part of the medal
Made brass. Measures 32.11 mm in width, 37.52 mm in height and weighs 17.2 grams without its suspension.
In excellent condition with most details visible and light overall wear. Both sides are free from large dings and scratches and show some minor contact marks only. Most of the original gold-like luster is still present and the medal comes with its time period brass suspension.
Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the capture of Königsberg between 23 January and 10 April 1945.
