RKKA Excellent Sniper Badge #477
(1938-1941)
Made of silver plated brass and enamels. The badge measures 43.87 mm in height, 36.80 mm in width and weighs 15.5 grams without its screwplate. Its serial number is stamped on its screwplate and not on the badge itself which was not uncommon with prewar-time badges.
The badge is in great, well above average condition with all details crisp and full silver plating present. Even the details of the solder are perfectly visible. The enamels are absolutely stunning and without chipping, scratches or repairs; rarely seen with these prewar-time badges. The badge includes its well fitted and time period screwplate and its screw has not been shortened.
Next to impossible to upgrade and with a low serial number!
