Soviet Ready for Labor and Defense badge #1640950 (1931-1936)
This badge is made of plated brass and enamels. The round medallion measures 30.74 mm in height and 30.97 mm in width. The complete badge without screwplate weighs 14.6 grams.
The badge is in excellent, above average condition. The enamel is stunning and free from substantial chipping and flaking (in the images it looks like there is a superficial chip on the bottom of its suspension but this is not the case). Its details are mostly present and the chain and suspension are original to the badge. Unfortunately part of the stickpin on its reverse has broken off. Its functionality however is not affected since it still can be attached with the suspension device. Its well fitted screwplate is time period and original to the badge.
