“On 07/17/1944, when our units crossed the western Bug river, comrade Tsenava, disregarding his life, under heavy artillery and machine-gun fire, sought out the regiment’s firing positions and drove there a vehicle with fuel, lubricants and provisions, thereby helping the regiment to make a further march, cross the western Bug river and drive the Fritzes from the left bank.
On 08/19/1944 in the vicinity of the village of Kihara, comrade Tsenava was instructed to pass to the operational center of the regiment for the delivery of fuel, lubricants and food. Comrade Tsenava, not casting about the fact that the passage to the village of Kihara was 200-300 meters wide and was heavily fired upon by machine-gun and artillery fire, disregarding life, walking in front and leading one vehicle with combustible lubricants and food in the dark, delivered both vehicles to firing positions. With this, comrade Tsenava gave the opportunity to feed the entire personal composition and refuel the machines with fuel and lubricants to break out of the encirclement.
